Cutter knife (utility knife).
This standard shall not apply to stationery intended to be used for students over 14 years old and professional.
Chemical Requirements
1. The maximum migration limits of the following heavy metal are as follow:

2. Requirements of adhesive (in the form of liquid, solid, paste):
The content shall not exceed the limit of the following hazardous
substances:

3. Correction fluid, correction tape, correction post, correction pen
The content of benzene shall not exceed 10 mg/kg.
The total content of chlorinated hydrocarbon in dichloromethane, 1,1-dichloroethane, 1,2 dichloroethane, trichloromethane, 1,1,1-trichloroethane, 1,1,2-trichloroethane, trichloroethylene and carbon tetrachloride shall not exceed 10 mg/kg.
4. Surface material and accessories of school bag and pencil case
Free formaldehyde content shall not exceed 300 mg/kg.
Decomposable hazardous aromatic amine dye shall be prohibited to be used. Each hazardous aromatic amine dye content shall not exceed 20 mg/kg. (Hazardous aromatic amine dye is listed in Annex A)
5. Phthalate limit of accessible plastic parts
The total content of Bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP), Dibutyl phthalate (DBP), Benzyl butyl phthalate (BBP) in accessible plastic parts shall not exceed 1000 mg/kg.
6. Color clay
Free formaldehyde content shall not exceed 500 mg/kg.
Physical requirements
Homework book
The brightness shall not exceed 85%.
Pen cap
Pen cap shall meet the dimension requirements or the rate of air flow requirements.
Edge and point
The tip of stationery scissors and stationery knife shall not have sharp point.
Stationery shall not have any sharp edge and sharp point, other than functional sharp edge or functional sharp point.
Labelling requirements
Labelling shall be clear, legible and durable.
For products listed in Annex G, the following statement shall be marked on the products or packaging:
Meaning: Suitable for students 14 years old or lower) or Meaning: Suitable age: 6 to 14 years old
Products that need warning labels or instructions shall be indicated.
Stationery that have functional sharp edge or functional sharp point shall contain warning to indicate the functional sharp edge or functional sharp point. Other than the function sharp edge and functional sharp point, no sharp point or sharp edge shall be found.
