Hong Kong published updates list of Mandatory /Harmonised standards for Toys and Children Products-CPC Certification_RoHS Testing_REACH Testing_CPSIA Testing

Hong Kong has approved to update certain safety standards for toys and children’s products listed in Schedules 1 and 2 of the Toys and Children’s Products Safety Ordinance (Cap. 424). It is already effective from 1 October 2020. The following standards have been updated:

Schedules 1
The following five standards for toy products have been updated:

1	ISO 8124:3-2010 + A2:2018 Safety of toys - Part 3: Migration of certain elements (updated from ISO 8124-3:2010 + A1:2014)
2	ISO 8124-4:2014 + A2:2019 Safety of toys - Part 4: Swings, slides and similar activity toys for indoor and outdoor family domestic use (updated from ISO 8124-4:2014 + A1:2017)
3	BS EN 71-1:2014 + A1:2018 Safety of toys - Part 1: Mechanical and physical properties (updated from BS EN 71-1:2014)
4	BS EN 71-3:2019 Safety of toys -Part 3: Migration of certain elements (updated from BS EN 71-3:2013 + A3:2018)
5	BS EN 71-14:2018 Safety of toys - Part 14: Trampolines for domestic use (updated from BS EN 71-14:2014 + A1:2017)

Baby walking frames	ASTM F977-18 Standard consumer safety specification for infant walkers (updated from ASTM F977-12)
