On 3 August 2022, the UK’s Department for Business, Energy & Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has published Notice 0063/22, and proposed to update the references to the designated standards under the Toys (Safety) Regulations 2011 (S.I. 2011 No. 1881). The update is proposed to apply on 1 September 2022, unless the notice is withdrawn or amended before that date.
This proposed update will affect standards EN 71-2, EN 71-3, EN 71-4, EN 71-7, EN 71-12 and EN 71-13.
