CCC Certificate of Certification

3C certification is short for ‘China Compulsory Certification.It is an institution which the Chinese Government creates to protect its consumers’ security and national security. It is one of the product conformity assessment systems which follows the laws and the rules, and which can strength product quality management.
The 3C certification was published at Dec. 3, 2001, to the world when China joined the WTO, and at May, 1, 2002, the CNCA started the first 3C certification, which included 19 items totally 132 kinds of products.
The 3C certification is a product conformity assessment system which Chinese government published by following the related WTO Protocoland International norms. It is created to protect consumers’ security, wild animals and plants, the environment and national security.
3C certification mark totally 4 categories:
1, CCC+S;
2, CCC+EMC;
3, CCC+S&E;
4, CCC+F.
3C Certification Flow:
The model for certification is Samples + Original Fab. Inspection + Post Certificated Intendance.
Process Flow in detail:
1, Application for 3C Certification,
2, Samples for Test,
3, Original Fabactory Inspection,
4, Comments & Approval for the Test result,
5, Post Certificated Intendance( Sampling).

1, Sample Registration Form;
2, Detail Product information for 3C Certification;
3, Product Introduction;
4, Product Specification;
5, Product Service Manual;
6, Product Circult (Including illustrative diagram & PCB layout);
7, Introduction for the difference between main product and others at the same series;
8, List for the key parts which related to Safety, and main components which related to the EMC;
9, Copy for the Certification of the key safety components from product;
10, Product’s CB Certification and Report (If possible);
11, Product’s Trademark usage authorization (If possible);
12, Introduction of the Fab.
13, Manufacture Status ( scale, capacity and history of the product);
14, The Key Producing Equipment Checklist;
15, The main measurement equipment checklist ( Name, Device, Specification, Number, Degree of Accuracy, re-testing period).
Change of the Certification:
The application must be re-applied to the agency if the product changed:
1) In/De-crease product number at one series.
2) The key component, raw material, structure, process flow or vendor changed for the product;
3) The trademark, client, MFG or Fab. Infor. ( Name w/o address, quality control system, etc.) changed.
4) Others which affects the Certification requirement.
The agency should check the above changes to make sure if the original certification approval can cover the certification change. Test should
be done at the difference w/o Fab. Assurance capacity if needed. Make sure the original certification in validity w/o change certification if qualified.
