Canada IC Certificate of Certification

What is IC certification?
Short for IC Industry of Canada's Industry Canada, as a government agency, responsible for electrical and electronic product certification affairs into Canada market.Similar to the FCC of beauty, IC is only limit on electromagnetic interference.General provisions: only forced EMI, also the same as the FCC authentication way, can adopt self validation, conforms to the Ming, Certification Certification three ways.
Brief introduction:
Industry of Canada(IC) requires the products which inter Canadian market to do the IC certification. The IC certification is the EMC
certification. The STD of IC certification is almost the same with FCC certification, and till now it only restricts on products’ EMI.

Authentication methods:
Two methods: Self-verification and Certification.
IC ID: CN(Company Number，a maximum of 6 numbers)+UPN(Unique Product Number，a maximum of 8 numbers)。
Notes of Application:
1, the data must contain the Canadian representative address information.
2, the label needs to contain the following information: Manufacturer's name or trademark, device’s name, IC ID number.
