Brief introduction:
The Energy Star is a energy saving project which is led by the American government, and mainly aimed at the consumer electrical products.It started at 1992 and announced by the EPA and DOE.The target is to reduce energy use and decrease greenhouse gas emission. Most products in Chinese market are the lighting products nowadays, including CFL, RLF, traffic lights and exit lights.

Test contents of the energy star: safety, EMI, Surge, Noise(Energy efficiency testing project of the non energy star).
Optical property and energy efficiency testing projects; 1: light efficiency, light transmission, 2: color temperature, color bias, color rendering
index, 3: light distribution, regional light distribution, 4: Chrominance space non uniformity 5: period cycle of switching, 6: maintenance radio of light transmission, 7: maintenance radio of Chrominance, 8: size, 9: electrical parameter.
